Preparing for Honk!Oz 2019 The Femmes devised a performance action to protest the mistreatment of refugees by the Australian Government. We donned orange ‘prison style’ coveralls and created our own version of Talking Heads’ This Must Be The Place played on recorders with our own Femmes Force lyrics. Honk!Oz asked us to open the festival that year where we performed at the Wollongong Art Gallery.
